| Taking Beer Fest to the MAX! Same date, same time, NEW VENUE. We’re taking the Door County BeerFestival to the MAX this year! This year’s festival will be hosted on the grounds of Maxwelton Braes and its MAX bar at 7680 Hwy 57. We’ve moved this year’s festival to spread out the combined crowds of the beerfest and our partner event, the Peninsula Century Spring Classic bike ride. This, plus the larger grounds of Maxwelton, will allow us to provide more spaced tables and tents to provide all attendees a safe and comfortable atmosphere. We’ll also have our FREE shuttles running to the grounds, with stops at Baileys Grove Campground, Baileys Woods Campground, Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, and at Brann Field in the center of town (the previous location of the beerfestival next to Door County Brewing Co.). | MAX at Maxwelton Braes Lodge Escape to MAX, a new local, low-key bar open seven days a week from 11am – 9pm. The updated bar area features a new jukebox, multiple seating areas, Golden Tee and outdoor games for the whole family – including a putting green, frisbee golf short course, corn hole, Koob, pickleball and more. It’s a casual atmosphere for kicking back and quenching your thirst with competitive pricing to boot. MAX is not a restaurant, but it is an open kitchen and patio which will host some of the county’s favorite chefs and restaurants. In addition to lunch options from Thyme Cuisine from 11am – 2 pm daily, MAX will offer rotating food options including Lumberjack’s Taco Shack, Wally’s Weenie Wagon and Great Lakes BBQ for food trucks, Weborg’s Smoke Shack for a fish boil, and Jamaican Door jerk chicken. |
